Prophetic Word: Miraculous Glory-Filled Sons and Daughters of God, Arise!

It started at the Word...

“John (The Baptist) went preaching and baptizing throughout the Jordan Valley. He persuaded people to turn away from their sins and turn to God for the freedom of forgiveness, fulfilling what was written in the book of the prophet Isaiah:

‘Listen! You will hear a thunderous voice in the lonely wilderness telling you to wake up and get your heart ready for the coming of the Lord Yahweh. Make straight every twisted thing in your lives. Bring into the light every dark way. Make right every wrong. Remove injustice. Every heart of pride will humbly bow before him. Every deception will be exposed and replaced by the truth to prepare everyone everywhere to see the Life of God!’” Luke 3:3-6 TPT

God Reveals a Mighty Move from His Heart

The Lord spoke to me several weeks ago in a time of worship, about a mighty move that He intended to bring about into the Earth. According to Him, the least likely in the Church’s estimation would lead this mighty move!

We will discuss what the Lord said about this mighty move that I have named the Multigenerational, miraculous, Glory-Filled Sons and Daughters of God! Together, we will see how this group will be raised up to be powerfully used in these last days. The will be used to usher in the Mighty King of Glory in the Earth! Hang on Church! God is doing a new thing in the earth!

The Unlikely Leaders That Don’t Fit the Mold

The Lord continued His heart for these unlikely leaders. I could hear how dear they truly were to His heart. These individuals are deeply devoted to Him and have been used by Him mightily in previous seasons.

Because they bear His Name; they are gifted, spiritually strong, and walk in humility and integrity. They are very much cherished by Him even now. They walk with His seal of approval with the many gifts and abilities that they have honed through the years.

These individuals continue to serve the Father with honor and have been in the valley for some time now. Looking around as they moved through the years, they have felt as if replacement and being overlooked would now be their new norm. Some have even since retired. They simply did not fit the mold of the Church.

Their hearts enjoy serving the King! They feel most alive when they serve the King in instructing others to become the people God wants them to be. Their genuine joy is to see others walking in holiness. These individuals aren’t only one age group, but many age groups! All carry gifts and abilities in specific areas the Lord wants transferred into the Body of Christ.

Highly Skilled, Walking in Obedience and Truth

These precious people, who are highly skilled, glory-filled sons and daughters of God are also filled with much experience and wisdom. They have seen and been a part of many movements of God in days gone by. They are not strangers to seeing the glory of God in their midst. Through it all, they walked in obedience to the King in times of service to Him.

As the years have gone by, however, a newer generation arose up after them. There seemed no longer be a need for what they carried. I heard the Father speaking of them as:

An “Arrested Generation, in retirement, in a tomb.” (of sorts.)

Then I looked and saw a flash of brilliant GOLD.

The Lord spoke again, “It’s weak, but I raise it up to glory again!”

I could feel His excitement as He spoke these words of hope and encouragement over these devoted servants. He has been awakening and preparing His Bride in this season. He is encouraging Her to step out into new or dormant gifts. These gifts need refining and practice as the Bride prepares herself to be equipped for the influx of God’s glory to fill the earth.

These skilled individuals, as He called them, will rise once again in the glory of Jesus Christ, teaching and equipping the Bride in how to use her gifts in service to the King. This time of service will drench many more in God’s glory!

An Arrested Generation for An Appointed Season

The definition of “arrested,” based on Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary is: “To seize, capture specifically, to take or keep in custody by authority of law, to bring to a stop, or check or slow Its growth.”

These individuals the Lord referred to served in seasons past, but were stopped, or slowed in their progress; seized, captured, or held back for an appointed time.

As I write this, I see a large key put into an antique toy that is wound up and then set to release to take off by itself. I see the Lord winding up many people and letting them go into action again! He is placing within them a second wind of invigoration. As they are wound up, they are being filled with Holy Spirit fire! He is setting them up to go into action yet again for another appointed time and season!

Where Are the Spiritual Mothers and Fathers? The Bride desperately needs these individuals in this hour! I began to think about them more. Where are the spiritual mothers and fathers on the earth?

They are here in this ‘arrested generation’! Their many skills and wisdom they have carried shall not be lost to retirement! The Lord desires them to come forth! The Lord has need for them for the invaluable experience, nurturing, understanding, and gifting they have walked in and continue to carry!

Many in the Body of Christ are without spiritual mothers or fathers to help raise them up in excellence; to encourage them, love them in relationships like a mother or father would. There is simply no one to encourage them into their destinies. Where have they all gone?

Then I heard, “Multigenerational!"

This arrested generation isn’t just one age group, no, they are many generations united under one task!

Uniting the Generations Through the Spirit of Elijah

This Glory-filled sons and daughters of God will be the ones to unite the fathers to the sons and sons to the fathers again. They will carry the spirit of Elijah! This is the same spirit that was upon both Elijah and John the Baptist. They were forerunners of Jesus Christ: making way for the King of Glory into the earth over 2,000 years ago.

These men came forth to bring conviction and stir up repentance in the hearts and minds of the people in their times. God raised them up to do this so that the world would be ready to receive the Messiah, Jesus Christ.

Luke 1:14-17 AMP describes what an angel of the Lord said of John the Baptist as his birth was foretold to his Father, Zechariah:

“He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice at his birth, for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He shall never take wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from his mother’s womb. Many of the sons of Israel he will turn back to the Lord their God. And he will go on before the Lord in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous—to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” Luke 1:14-17 AMP

John the Baptizer, Forerunner to Christ

Malachi 3:1-7 AMP describes the function of John the Baptist by the Lord, and then the coming of the Messiah:

“Behold, I am going to send My messenger, and he will prepare and clear the way before Me. And the Lord [the Messiah], whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; the Messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming,” says the Lord of hosts. But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire and like launderer’s soap [which removes impurities and uncleanness]. He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and He will purify the sons of Levi [the priests], and refine them like gold and silver, so that they may present to the Lord [grain] offerings in righteousness. Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasing to the Lord as in the days of old and as in ancient years. “Then I will come near you for judgment; I will be a swift witness against sorcerers, against adulterers, against perjurers, and against those who oppress the laborer in his wages and widows and the fatherless, and against those who turn away the alien [from his right], and those who do not fear Me [with awe-filled reverence],” says the Lord of hosts. “For I am the Lord, I do not change [but remain faithful to My covenant with you]; that is why you, O sons of Jacob, have not come to an end. “Yet from the days of your fathers you have turned away from My statutes and ordinances and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts. Malachi 3:1-7 AMP

John the Baptist also said in John 3:28-30:

“You yourselves can testify that I said, ‘I am not the Messiah, but am sent ahead of him.’ The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom’s voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete. He must become greater; I must become less.” John 3:28-30 AMP

Jesus was Sent After John to Prepare a Priesthood in Purity

Notice in these verses that Jesus refined and purified the sons of Levi, the priests. He refined them like gold and silver, so that they may present grain offerings to the Lord. Why grain? Because there was no longer a need for any further blood sacrifices. Jesus was coming to earth to remedy that!

These priests represent the chosen generation of sons and daughters of the Most High God. His beautiful anointed, priestly children–You and me as believers! He will refine us like gold and silver before His return.

Jesus came to refine and purify them so that they (all of us) could give God righteous sacrifices of praise and worship! The ‘priests’ are a reference to all who will repent, accept Jesus, and become His people. They are a royal priesthood set apart for Him:

“But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A CONSECRATED NATION, A [special] PEOPLE FOR God’s OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies [the wonderful deeds and virtues and perfections] of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9 AMP

Elijah, Forerunner and Mentor of a Double Portion Anointing

Elijah, also a forerunner of Jesus Christ in his day, called forth repentance. In addition to repentance, he called for the return of the awe and the holy fear of the Lord in Israel. This was all during a time of national crisis. He also trained and mentored Elisha. This man is the one who carried a double portion of his anointing, doing many more miracles than Elijah did!

In this way, Elijah is a forerunner of Jesus Christ. Elisha then, is a type of foreshadowing of Jesus Christ. All because of the marvelous miracles He walked in, just like Jesus. Jesus, before He left this world in John 14:12-14, said:

“I assure you and most solemnly say to you, anyone who believes in Me [as Savior] will also do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these [in extent and outreach], because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in My name [ [as My representative], this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified and celebrated in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name [as My representative], I will do it.” John 14:12-14

God is Doing it Again!

God wants to do what He did again in the Old and New Testaments again! Do you hear the holy echo? God does not change. Just like God used Elijah and John the Baptist to be forerunners of Christ, He also wants to fill a generation of people with the same spirit of Elijah to be forerunners to the coming of our Lord and Savior today!

He will raise the ‘arrested generation’ (the glory-filled sons and daughters of God) in the Spirit of Elijah and use them to train up other generations of people who will grow strong in this spirit.

This newly trained generation will then be forerunners to the coming of our King of Glory!

Performing signs and wonders, this trained up generation will usher in a harvest of new believers as the last great harvest before the coming of our Lord!

Once again, Luke 1:17 defines the purpose of the forerunners of Jesus:

“He will go before the Lord as a forerunner, with the same power and anointing as Elijah the prophet. He will be instrumental in turning the hearts of the fathers in tenderness back to their children and the hearts of the disobedient back to the wisdom of their righteous fathers. And he will prepare a united people who are ready for the Lord’s appearing.” Luke 1:17 TPT (italics mine)

Godly Mentoring=Greater Glory!

The whole point I want to communicate is that spiritual fathers and mothers (The arrested generation) are to help make a people prepared for the Lord’s coming! Halleluiah! They are full of the Spirit of Elijah and already know it well and walk in it. They will raise another generation full of this spirit! This new generation will share the Gospel to myriads of unbelievers that do not know Christ on this earth.

They will do this through great wonder working signs, healings, and miracles of all kinds! Their influence will bring countless people to faith in Jesus Christ. All because the entire world will know they bear the imprint of God! Nations will rise to come and see what God is doing! (See Isaiah 60)

Multigenerational Doesn’t Mean Generations Before Jesus Comes Back

This training and mentoring done for many generations of people does not mean that it will be generations before Jesus’ return to this world. Take heart too, that it simply shows that so many walks of life and ages will be a part of this ‘generation’ of people as forerunners to the Messiah. God also spoke again that they would be:

“Undercover” This shows that they have protection from the enemy. It also speaks of activities done without the enemy knowing what is happening. This mirrors exactly how John the Baptist came onto the scene in the New Testament.

He came in great power after being in the wilderness. He was unknown, yet fully prepared to move out with power when the time was right. All the individuals within the Church undergoing training and equipping, when fully prepared, will spring onto the scene in power and glory! (Matthew 3:1-6)

A Plan Under God’s Divine Leading and Protection

Our tender God of mercy has every facet of this training and raising up carefully planned. Right down to the last detail, He is watching over it to protect it. It is under His watchful care. He is very active in preparing this, activating intercessors all over the world to pray this teaching movement into existence.

What an amazing God we serve, the God who does not change. He shows us the compassion and amazing faithfulness of His heart in every circumstance. He cares for every single one of us so much. His love is so much more far reaching than we can imagine. He truly is the King of Glory, majesty, and matchless wonder as He orchestrates His amazing plan on the earth!

All Creation Waits for the Glory-Filled Sons & Daughters of God to be Revealed!

May we have hearts to receive this plan, obey, be ready. We need to be willing to do our part, whatever that may be. Make no mistake, He will make those plans abundantly clear for those who must carry them. Some await His word to arise even now. He is so worthy of our obedience.

Our hearts, looking for His glory and His appearing with every passing day, shout with adoration the omnipotent plans of our beloved Adonai! May His coming be swift and may it bring unlimited souls to Him through the prepared and Glory-filled Bride of Christ! All creation waits with bated breath for the Glory-filled sons and daughters of God to be revealed!
